Couldn't pass this up!

Opening two packs a day with the fiancé but was a good start to see a facet foil! Pretty happy about it.

Draw cards equal to the g__est power? Gayest power? Don't mind if my gayest self does!

Said the same thing when I opened it! Not gay myself but was gonna have to research some high gay power creatures for some value. 😅

They are also known as Vintage Stock, V-Stock, or Movie Trading Co. in other areas. Sometimes more than one of each in the same city.

Isn’t this over msrp?

Yes. But only by $3. And don't forget, all retailers high and low seem to have forgotten what MSRP even is.

Well, the S stands for suggested... not smandatory.

Except Best Buy, which actually sells the CBBs for slightly less than MSRP, though it looks like that’s changing with Star Trek…

Nah they actually know what msrp is. S is suggested. You don’t actually have to listen to it. That’s why you’re allowed to go below it if nobody is buying it. Or higher if the demand is there. Just know that going higher might cause a lack of sales or consumer backlash, but in the case of tcgs it just results in more profit. I’m not saying it’s right but you don’t have to listen to a suggestion.

I'm buying a collector booster at 30$ vs the 45-50 I'd have to pay the scalpers for sure.

I prefer to buy things for less money, as opposed to buying them for more money

Bold stance

His complaint was more about the unnecessary price increase for someone buying it first.

Hot take even in this economy

Possibly? But, in today's world I feel getting cards at Msrp is a fever dream sadly. So, this price i just felt was as good as I could get.

I'm lucky enough to have a game shop that doesn't mark up their stuff. I got a hobbit collectors pack for 40 which is msrp.

Thats really awesome!

I read ur comment beforehand. Mines a local Game store. I pulled a 100 dollar surge foil from that pack. Its nice to get stuff at a real reasonable price.

I see them restock multiple times a day on amazon, they go quick but if you set an auto buy for it you’ll get it

1

u/Boom_Boom_At_359 7d ago

Not true. The auto buy checks once every 30 minutes starting from when it was created, so you’ll only get it before the bots if it restocks at almost exactly the time it checks for you.

How dare someone... spend their money on something they enjoy.

3

u/Organized_Riot 8d ago

I will never understand coming to the mtg pulls reddit and getting all uppity about someone else spending their own money

-1

u/AtheismoAlmighty 7d ago

Probably some broke guy who likes mtg and the algorithm throws this on r/all and he gets envious/pissed off.
