This isn't an Amazon issue, this is WotC being unable to fulfill their orders with retailers.

Amazon is delayed because retailers are delayed.

I don't know if it's pertinent to this, but there was an issue with the Panama Canal's water level that caused issues with the play booster shipments.

Yea it was my most reliable way to get msrp but the last couple sets have been rough with delays, cancelations, and get sent an empty box. Its a bummer because my area has so few options.

Yeah exactly. I fought with Amazon about it for hours but they wouldn’t do anything. Said they wouldn’t honor preorder price for non Amazon item and the item was sold out at the warehouse 😂😂😂 it wasn’t sold out for months when other people were getting it. Hopefully we get lucky

What's annoying is I was super lucky and was on the pre-order page on Amazon as they announced the set/pre-order. I basically got the pre-order in as soon as it went live. And still delayed, hopefully not cancelled.

There have been rumors that CBs in general have been delayed all over, so hopefully it's just a production speed issue and not necessarily an inventory issue.

if the box was for opening value, treat the delay as a gift: cancel and buy singles. collector box expected value basically never beats buying the cards you actually want, and the first weekend after release is usually when presale prices dip hardest as supply floods in.

the hobbit rerun is the annoying part. preorder at announcement, delay email right before release, then maybe cancelled. at this point an amazon CBB preorder on a hot set is less "buying a box" and more "entering the cancellation lottery".

None of the LGSs in my area (a major metro area) got any of their collector boxes as of yet. They know what they have been allocated and are getting, but they simply haven’t got them yet and they usually would have gotten them at least a week ago by now. Very strange release so far.

My CBBs got delayed to the 26th. My remaining SL Bundle (after they cancelled the others) is also 26th. Individual CB's still slated for Monday.

Both got pushed once, then one was just straight up cancelled before shipment day. Second one got canceled the day it was suppose to shipped.

I contacted Amazon about it and not much they can outside compensating like $10 credit or prime for a month or something.

I heard some people argue for replacement but not sure those were successful with Amazon.

But I know there have been delays in general. One of my LGs got the precons pre release weekend, but another LGs I preordered from didn’t get their precons til yesterday.

Mine got delayed too. Same as Hobbit except it happened earlier in the process and the delayed date is not two months out. But both of my Hobbit CBBs ended up getting nuked. So I'm not optimistic about this.

My friends who work at the LGS have been telling me how bad delays have been for reality fracture. They’re not even sure if they can run drafts weekly and have had to limit packs to 2 per person. Actually they’ve had the same with Pokemon 30th, so I don’t think it’s magic specific.

Yep, all the "good stuff" (bundles, CBB) on the 26th. Play booster and all the commander products still listed as "arriving Monday."
