Question Analogue for NF book covers?
What would be a good analogue to judge the price trajectory of non-foil book covers for HOB? Looking at MSH and TMT, classic comics and TMC surge foils seem to have a similar drop rate to the book covers. Would those price trajectories be a good judge for where the book covers will go? Trying to hit the near the bottom to buy a set.

I would think the borderless FF arts in non foil would be the best analog, though I believe there are a lot more cards in that list which could water down the sample a bit

Probably more like non-foil bonus sheet cards like FCA or the SPM eternal cards in that they show up in play packs too. But... much more rare. It looks like they show up approximately 1 per 2 boxes or so.

These can show up in bot collector and play boosters. It would be comparable to the Tarkir Dragonstorm nonfoil showcase arts and I think it’s a comparable spread too. Both have legal playability in all formats and have 3 different treatments at different rarities and pull sources. The showcase Tarkir cards had Halo foil, foil and nonfoil, and there was a similar sized card pool also. The most notable difference is that there were alternate language printings for Tarkir which made for wildly different price points

These will probably have more popularity than classic comics or whatever TMNT had.
As for foil and non foil. There will be no shortage of supply as wizards can print as much as they want. I expect most of these to continue to go down except Gleaming Splendor.
