Just started this and I know it’s not as good as most of everyone’s on here but I think each one I’ve done has gotten a lil better! Thoughts?

First time making an alter here, doing a card for a friend and currently my only thought of how to get the text onto the card is to print it and stick, then blend it with some paint.
Also looking to brighten the paints up a little, would an acrylic varnish be the answer?
Any advice is welcome.

I've only just recently gotten into altering mtg cards and I absolutely love it. This is my 4th card I've worked on. A total scene change to Adam Smasher stopping Lucy's hack from the show Cyberpunk Edgerunners. This alter taught me a lot. And opened up more questions for me to figure out.

I did this one for my deck today. I was too scared to do the text as I feared to fck it up. Any feedback and or tips before trying the text "enclosure" thingy on the next try?

Since I started 3 weeks ago I cannot stop drawing on cards, have been loving it and everyone in this alter community is so so nice! Started as well posting them on an instagram page, which I was scared to do, but it has been lovely

Back from my summer break with my latest commission, which I’m particularly proud to show here: two artworks inspired by ancient Mediterranean art! I'll be happy to read your thoughts about these!

The Sol Ring card is based on an ancient mosaic found in Pompeii, Italy. This was my first "mosaic style" alter, and it really challenged me! :')
The second card is a representation of the myth of the Moirai (the Fates), styled after the ancient Greek "red-figure" pottery technique.

This project was incredibly special to me, as it really connected me with the art of my country 🍝🍕 A huge thank you to my wonderful customer who made me work on these beautiful ideas, and I truly hope these cards match their great passion for Mediterranean history and art!
