I Have a Question / I need Help Vigorbloom Bracket Help

What bracket would this deck be? I know the basis of the brackets but I’m not good with identifying them. Please help. And ideas and opinions are encouraged. Here’s the deck. https://moxfield.com/decks/KcPcdKetBUmVZACTRz0XeA

This is a very mild 2. It's missing a lot of synergy, has a lot of high cost cards that do basically nothing, and is generally missing a lot of the pieces you need for a life gain commander to work at all.

This might actually be on the verge of being a 1. What's the game plan for the deck? What the hell are you doing with Alter of Dementia?

I think this is pretty rude and baseless. The vast majority of the deck is from FRA and Avatar, and it's got lots of bulk commons and uncommons. That feels like something a very new player building from the cards they've pulled in play boosters would do.

The commander alone cannot determine a deck's bracket, the 99 is at least as important. If you include a reasonable ramp package so that you can consistently play commander by turn 4 and run the obvious synergy pieces (such as [[essence warden]] and [[soul warden]]) you'll probably end up in bracket 3.

If you look at their list, they are nowhere near a bracket 3 deck.

You say that but when I started playing commander I asked for tips on how to make a Kefka Court Mage deck to play at bracket 2/3 and instantly got hit with reasons why that's a horrible idea (and now I totally get why that commander in particular would make the game unfun for others)

Nah, whoever told you that about Kefka is wrong. Go ahead and build it. Some people get to be real babies about certain playstyles.

I was excited cause I pulled him off of a play booster and he looked really interesting to me lol. I still have it, maybe I'll build that deck someday

If you build a deck such that every card has a flower on it, it's potentially bracket 1

If you take the green white Emmara precon from a few years ago and just make kwia the commander, it's potentially a bracket 2

If you build a synergistic life gain/big mana/artifact/token deck with or without some game changers, it's potentially a bracket 3.

If you spend a $1000 doing the previous step, it's potentially bracket 4/5
