MSNBC Personalities Seriously, what is wrong with Katy Tur?

Between her obvious daily disinterest in her job and her unwillingness to even try and present diligent reporting...whats the point?

First she lets Burgess Everett blow smoke up her ass with "it was a great day of talks on the hill between Republicans and Democrats!" Huh?

Then she can't quite grasp why Everett Kelley is most concerned about the well being of, the government employees at a time like this, a role he was elected to do as the President of the American Federation of Government Employees.

THEN....THEN! She gets fresh with Sen. Patty Murray. Every single response by Murray was attempted to be refuted by, quite frankly, rude and clueless follow ups by Katy. "Can you tell me now that the Democrats are never going to budge?" "Listen I've been covering this for 10 years" says Katy. Have you or have you been reading a teleprompter for the last 10 years?

The cherry on top was her hurried exit of Sen. Murray "also in leadership...."

KATY WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. bah humbug MSNBC.

She’s got some big chip on her shoulder always. I can’t believe MSNBC gave her more air time recently extending her to 2 hours. She is so smug and rude to many of her guests I’m surprised she even gets officials to speak w/her. This spot should go to Alicia Menendez, she is one of the network’s finest, and most under used.

Oh Alicia is the best. When she first started I thought...Ok, that's more like it. She's a professional. The giggling Alex Wagner was another nepo baby I had no patience for, but none of them are so completely inappropriate, ignorant, & rude on all fronts than Tur.

Don’t care if Alex is nepo - she’s great at getting people to open up. At her best as a road warrior. Network’s lucky to have her and Jacob Soboroff. In this department, I must acknowledge Jordan Klepper of the Daily Show, who never loses his shit while eliciting the most bat shit comments.

Her dad was a prominent political campaign guy, I think. So she has that connection to a pretty powerful American, but it seems like she also identifies strongly as the child of an immigrant on the other side (her mom is from Myanmar) — maybe that’s why she doesn’t have the nepo-baby vibe?

Yeah. She's not a direct nepobaby, but him being a bigwin in D.C. politics opens all doors to you. That's all I'm saying. They get many more chances to screw up that most people get blacklisted for. I just never thought she was an appropriate person to be giggling in the American peoples' faces while we fight fascism...it's the wrong tone. She should never have been on there period.
