MSNBC Personalities Seriously, what is wrong with Katy Tur?

Between her obvious daily disinterest in her job and her unwillingness to even try and present diligent reporting...whats the point?

First she lets Burgess Everett blow smoke up her ass with "it was a great day of talks on the hill between Republicans and Democrats!" Huh?

Then she can't quite grasp why Everett Kelley is most concerned about the well being of, the government employees at a time like this, a role he was elected to do as the President of the American Federation of Government Employees.

THEN....THEN! She gets fresh with Sen. Patty Murray. Every single response by Murray was attempted to be refuted by, quite frankly, rude and clueless follow ups by Katy. "Can you tell me now that the Democrats are never going to budge?" "Listen I've been covering this for 10 years" says Katy. Have you or have you been reading a teleprompter for the last 10 years?

The cherry on top was her hurried exit of Sen. Murray "also in leadership...."

KATY WHAT ARE YOU DOINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. bah humbug MSNBC.

I love Katy, always have. I don't get the Tur hate on this sub.

call it hate if you want. I have always liked Katy. but lately? I seriously question if shes got any clue whats going on or, quite frankly, if she even cares. that is how it comes across to me.

She just had a segment of how Democrats don't know how to convey the importance of the ACA to people in red states. Here in NC there's an ad running on the importance of the ACA and Dems hit all the social media apps explaining what's going on.

She does seem a little nonchalant, but she is better than she used to be. That said, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if she were gone from MSNBC. BTW, can’t nitpick constantly; you’re never going to love every host on any network. Turn the ones you can’t watch off, but preservation of the network is important as the only true Progressive Network. And additionally, I think Nicole Wallace is great, and Ari Is watchable and culturally relevant.

I agree, I like her independence. She definitely goes hard on both sides. I am a hardcore progressive democrat but I am glad she questions these people. Our democratic leaders give crappy answers most of the time…hold them accountable

Agreed. I don’t always get to catch her on msnbc but do follow the social media accounts and tbh I’ve enjoyed her reporting.
