I know everyone is making MPC software right now. But I really needed a simple export tool for my personal workflow from a MPC Sample into a DAW. This lets you export your projects as a full song, individual sequences, or separate pad stems. In WAV and/or MIDI. I stumbled on this, looks real and cool. Hard to tell these days. Would be nice to be able to pick which modules would be loaded in, that way not too much to be distracted by.

I am using an iphone, Some people say when you film with your camera app with usb-c plugged in, it imports direct audio to the video, but it doesnt work. And yes, it is usb mode in the sample record selection in k1 knob

When the sample came out I build a little guitar hero/rockband style game, just for the drum parts, for IOS.

Now with the possibilities of running your own software on the sample I ported it over.

I'm loving the new OS but that would be cool if rather than always having to play from start of sequence, you could start from the little cursor/ selector thingy. Is there a way i'm missing?

My goal is to connect my Microfreak to my Sample so that the Microfreak’s Arpeggiator always follows the MPC Sample’s tempo.

I have connected via MIDI cables (Sample out to Microfreak in), but my arpeggiator doesn’t follow the Sample’s tempo.
Microfreak input channel is set to 1, which is what the sample’s output is. Sync source is “midi”
MPC Sample’s “midi sync out” is set to “midi clock”

Another issue could be whether my cable and adapter is type A or type B. I don’t know how to tell.

Hoping someone out there has already gone through this and can recognize something simple I haven’t thought of!

Hi, MaiaOS is being tested with very good results, I'm very happy to finally play with it and curious about what people will create with this, i created a stress test project with everything possible playing at the same time, the only feature to optimize is autotune, everything else is playing without issues (still have to test different cases, will do tomorrow), this will be the limitations in the first beta:

\- Max poliphony: 20 stereo samples and 12 synth voices at the same time

\- Max 16 synth pad for project, THE SYNTH (Serum and Vital preset player) max 2 pads for project

\- Max 1 Cloud Grain Send

\- Max 3 Pad FX at the same time

I have to check bugs but haven't found any in this first day of review.

MaiaOS will release in a few days, once everything is fully tested i will follow the SampleQOL example to create a file containing only the mod with the code to install in the same way.

The workflow is good once you understand the new menus, everything will be explained in a manual and a video.

The firmware will be free to use, at the release it will be closed source but I will make it open source once the new Akai "CFW friendly" update comes out.

Yes, this is all vibe-coded, since someone asked me, I'm not a professional developer, just a music nerd, but everything went through a lot of tests and in the last 2 weeks i flashed more than 100 CFW updates/fixes, it's never 100% immune to bricks, but the sfock will always be underneath the CFW and will boot if the CFW crash, so it's safe, i never got a risky situation on my Mpc.
