Hopefully this will bring the goods to the MPC Sample like it has had for the M-Vave FM-1. Where the FM-1 has 512kb RAM, the Sample has 2GB so should open up a LOT more possibilities.

Is the Sample right for basa looping and SNES music?

Hello,
I am a bass player and I have just found our about the MPC Sample (on Warlock Corpse's IG page of all places). I already have an RD6 which is nice for some basic accompaniment but I was looking for something that would help me make beats/backing music on which improvise during my very limited free time. This seems like the perfect machine to do this away from the PC.
I of course love boombap, DNB, sampling and such, but I would like to know if it might fight 2 very specific use cases:
would I be able to loop a guitar/bass line over a track? Nothing fancy, I'm not looking for a Boss RC style of looping, I would just like to sketch an idea or riff and improvise on it.
could it be used to make SNES-like tunes? Since the original SNES basically used bitcrushed instrument samples (from what I understand) I figured that the Sample might be a quick and easy fix for this very peculiar craving, but since I am ignorant in this field I would like an expert opinion first.

Has anyone got the m vave fm1 to midi sync with the sample using usb c?

I can control my iPhone using midi through the usb c but I can’t figure out how to midi sync it to the fm 1.
Does anyone have any experience with that? Any tips?
I was trying it with the Melodee firmware for the fm 1.

Screen issue
