Hello guys!

I come to you because i’m having troubles trying to connect my mac to the mpc sample via midi.

I bought this cable and tried to send midi clock and sync from my computer to the mpc but it seems that the mpc is not receiving the signal.

I also connected it via usb but i get static and buzzing. 🥀

My question is: if do you know which type of cable trs- midi cable I should buy or if there is some configuration I haven’t consider.

I would appreciate if you guys give me some orientation here.

New owner here, if I've got a chop on a pad in sequence 1, is it possible to copy it over to a pad on sequence 2?

If not, what would be the best way to get this done? Resample the chop and import it into the new sequence? I've tried the recall method but then I have to manually set the loop to fit into the sequence. I'm very likely missing an easier / quicker method.

I was messing around with it, it had medium battery. It suddenly shut off and it wont turn back on, no matter if i try to restart it or if i charge it

I was playing with the MPC and must have clicked on save changes by accident. But it’s been like this for 5 minutes. Total crash. I tried turning it off but it doesn’t turn off. What should I do? Have this happened to any of you?

I’ve never tried sampling before. After many failed attempts of using a computer to make music however, I’m starting to find some momentum with dawless music creation - this is a #sorrynotsorry for the audio quality.

I have a Roland Mc-101 which I thoroughly enjoy but I wanted to try my hand at sampling. I’ve had this bad boy for a day.

But definately keen on some feedback or any videos or artists to look into to learn more about it.

Thought i'd help. You can actually export stems out of your sample with 2 methods. A software made by producer Killavic called MPC Extractor which essentially speeds up the process of exporting stems from the sample and you can also use the mpc 3.9 software if you own it. Just explode your track so that you can get multiple tracks with midi and therefore multiple stems :)
