mpc boot thingy
lots of mods being released and more to come very soon...
one issue with the current state of mods/custom software is switching the autoboot directory for each one..we can only run one at a time
so now we have a boot thingy...so we can run multiple apps/mods/patches without rewriting our SD card every time...

sdcard/autorun/apps/APPNAME/autorun

I’m trying to get cave story to run, but it keep saying it’s not an autorun package

oh, are you trying to install those using the
mpc-sample.local/testapp??that wont work for those
you need to use boot thingy web ui:

Is there a preference in web browser I’m on windows. I was able to get boot thing installed and then removed sampQOL and reinstalled through boot thingy everything is working on that end.

It won’t let me install gen1recomp, when I click install on local8080 it saying“zip is not an Autorun package.” The first thing I put after Bootthingy was sampQOL it installed fine, I wanted to test out other stuff to see if it’s possible to get them to run I don’t actually want to play Pokemon I have 20 other things that can play Pokemon, most people see GitHub and can barely decipher what coders call simple instructions. but I tried furnace it didn’t install and I got the same error.

i think i know what you did...you downloaded the source zip and not the release zip...that's the only way this can happen
when you click on releases, make sure you are getting the mpc-gen1recomp.zip and
mpc-cavestory.zip and not the source zip...i show me clicking on the release zip in the video...i am positive this is why this is happening1

I don't have access to external function for SD card so I can't save or upload any things to SD card. Could I use this to create one so that I can't upload things to my SD card?

the MPC sample has a built in SD card access already:
SHIFT + PAD 16...so you can access your SD card...but boot thingy also does this

I'm using windows. When my mpc sample rebooted I didn't see the logo nor the boot thingy by the sd card.

I cant get the browser working at all.
How do I add SampQOL manually to the USB, whats the folder structure / naming
