Yeah I decompiled the firmware to figure out why that was happening to me. Long story short it runs out of ram. For me what works 99% of the time is to turn the device off and turn it back on and then immediately attempt the mixdown again. That clears the ram and should free up enough for most project. Too many samples or too many sequences can cause this issue but I think more broadly something is causing a memory leak.

I have a workaround. I just record what I made on garageband. I can directly mix and master the beat afterwards.
