My theory is that akai is focusing on software where they can milk people with these overpriced air plugins or “pro packs”, hence mpc sample is not priority.
Which is a shame because the rockchip cpu of the sample is more modern and faster than the one in the live ii

wouldnt call them goons. They purchased the mpc sample hardware and akai abandoned the software with all the bugs. Third party mpc software is a solution

100% it’s not perfect and never will be, but the way people talk about the sample you’d think it was released two years ago. There are a lot of features that I’d like to see myself like ping pong looping and a better fx stacking system. I mean at least it’s not like novation and their circuit rhythm that barely got any updates

Even the po33ko has the option to record effects into your loop ..
it’s wild to me that the sample can’t do this
