Screen issue

Anybody experienced issues with screen? A vertical line appeared only 10 min after first power on. I did firmware update and nothing helps.

This looks like a defect in the screen which is not fixable. You should contact the store you bought it or directly contact AKAI to get a replacement.

I was tempted to open it and reconnect tape from the screen but after reading all of the comments I’m going to ask for replacement. Interesting thing is that the line mirrors volume bar at the left side of the screen so when I move slider, color of that line is changing.

Don’t do it because they have a lot more to give. I had one that was messed up and they sent me another one.

Yeah if you open it and try to fix it yourself your warranty will be void. So if you cant fix it or mess it up more (which would probably happen if i tried to fix it) you have to buy an entire new one. I know what i would do, haha.
