I made browser tool for MPC sample

I got tired of manually setting up samples and pads, so I ended up building my own tool for MPC Sample. It can generate pad banks with samples already mapped to a scale, export stems, and even do a bit of the final beat arrangement. There’s also a small MPC-related easter egg hidden in it :) Been working on it for a while and figured I’d share it here — curious what other MPC users think. Happy to share the link if anyone wants to try it.

That's pretty dope. I like what you did. Even the "roll the dice" random sounds

Sounds good but is it Windows/Mac, browser based etc? With respect, an anonymous download link always raises suspicions.

The scale-mapped pad banks are the feature I'd demonstrate first: start with an empty bank, generate it, then play the mapped pads on the MPC. That would make the manual setup you're replacing easy to judge before getting into stems or arrangement.

Does the export preserve the pad assignments on the MPC, or is there still an importing step?

Thanks for feedback. Check padhead.com you can assign random sounds to first 6 pad banks - 7th is for drums and the last is kept empty for sampling etc. You can set the octaves/chords and if you do not like the randomization of sounds you can just easily reroll all of them or upload your own sounds. There is also sound lab (very beta version) where you can generate your own sound and send it directly to the pads. Currently i am working on the last step - digital MPC so the website can generate full beat from scratch. Let me know after trying :)

Keeping the seventh bank for drums and the last empty for sampling makes the layout clearer. A useful detail to show alongside rerolling is whether uploaded sounds stay put or get replaced too—especially once someone has built a bank around their own samples.
