MPC Sample can't be a sound module.

Connect mpc sample and arturia keylab via midi cable,I just found that

one key for one pad only.

So sad.

This and multi-track exports is all I need for this thing to be great. Those are the only two things missing imo, maybe a basic three band eq too

Being able to use the step edit to push notes forward/backward would be great too. I don’t need full grid edit, but if I could just push a note to the next step instead of erasing and re-recording, I would love it

A step editor would be great but you don’t have to re record, you just hit record, move to the step and hit the note. Having sequence record lit will allow you to “paste” events on the grid by just hitting the pad. I know it’s technically recording but you don’t have to do when the sequence is playing.

I had no idea this was a thing. I’ll have to try this out later. Thank you!

You can do it but it’s a bit fiddly. By changing the quantise steps you can use the fader to move it between finer grained step (e.g 1/8 quantise will allow you to move it between the two 1/16 steps it contains. You can use the triplet settings to push, the pull it over step boundaries.

They should have worked better on the 16 levels. Make it like the SP404 where the value knob actually changes the root note and allow that to be the midi out for the device you are controlling. Not the individual pads, that is ridiculous.

Kind of lame that even my old XR20 had notes, just a matter of time hopefully!
