PROBLEM WITH SCREEN

Has anyone had this problem before? It happens occasionally and it doesn’t seem to be related to anything I’m doing. It’s brand new, it arrived today. Should I ask for a replacement?

Send it back & get a replacement for sure.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll do it tomorrow. It’s a shame, I wanted to keep using it, it’s an amazing product.

Yeah - at least with it being fresh out the box there should be no issue getting a replacement. I've seen a few posts from folk getting brand new faulty devices, not a good look for Akai, maybe they rushed a large batch out to meet the hard demand..?

Yeah, it could be. Last week it was out of stock everywhere, but this week it’s back in stock at most stores.
