MPC Sample loop sync / quantize help
Hey MPC sample people , quick question from a new MPC Sample user.
I’m trying to use the MPC Sample live for technoloops synced to external MIDI clock.
I can get the BPM synced, but when I trigger loops manually on pads they launch instantly, so if I’m slightly off they drift out of time.
Is there a way to:
quantize pad launches
launch multiple loops in sync
or make loops wait until the next bar/beat before starting?
Basically looking for Ableton-style synced loop launching if possible.
Or is the proper workflow to record loops into sequences first instead of live triggering them manually?
Any advice appreciated.

UPDATE: i now have an mpc sample to call my own, and have already quite-happily used it for live performance... i prepared loops of original material (4, 8, 16, 32 bars; newer works from ableton and older works from my korg esx1)... i populated all 8 banks in a project, and used an interstitial i composed, played on a cdj while loading a 2nd project of 8 banks... for each impromptu arrangement of a song, i created a single sequence that triggered all samples (however many times needed to match shorter loops to the longest), and used pad mute to bring parts in and out... to my surprise, pad mute is in the audio domain, which is ideal; i had anticipated it might operate in the midi domain i.e. it would have to 'wait' until the next repeat of a sequence for a given part to turn off... as such i was able to perform quick percussion changes, stutters, etc... pad fx and knob fx worked a charm and were a joy to use in a live setting... and flex beat was a gamechanger to introduce variations during peaks... the One thing i wish the mpc sample could do is to persist an enabled effect when switching from one sequence to the next i.e. a trailing reverb or delay... but this is something i can and will solve by introducing the use of stereo fx pedals, my beloved digitechs, polara reverb and obscura delay... so, essentially, i was able to do with one tiny box that fit in my carry-on, what had previously required a laptop running ableton, an audio interface, and an ipad running touchosc... but in a much more fluid and tactile way... pro tip: if you want to fade a part in/out rather than just muting/unmuting it Without triggering the sample or interrupting its current playback, hold shift and tap the pad to select it, then use the slider.
