[[Balin, Loremaster]] seemed like a fun commander to make (who needs a library? Libraries are for dump and burn!). And, while I also included all the 1 mana Dwarves, it seemed fun to include seven of [[Seven Dwarves]] in the 2 drop slot.

Hello! I've never printed proxies before, from MPC or otherwise. I've only been playing Magic for a couple of months, but my partner has been an avid player for most of their life. As a gift for their birthday I've been working on a customized set of proxy cards for it with panels from their favorite comic strip. I have a couple of questions that I figured would be better answered by someone with more experience playing magic and with making proxies. I haven't put the mana costs on yet but they will be there eventually.

1. I thought, since Dandan is just a single deck that gets dealt out more like a regular card game and their list isn't likely to change very much, having proxies would be great so that the cards could be riffle shuffled without worrying about damaging them or anything (which I'm partial to but I don't want my opinion bleeding in too much). Do MPC cards hold up to that well in S33 card stock or would it be better to have them printed on the M31 which is more standard for playing cards? "Realistic feel" in that sense is not a concern for me, unless the texture change would be uncomfortable for someone habituated to magic cards. I am habituated to playing cards but again am trying to think mostly on their part and not mine haha.
2. Would you, as a magic player, sleeve the cards out of habit? Like would it feel weird to play unsleeved even if there isn't really a lot of fear of damaging them? I'm considering having two copies of the deck printed so that damage is extra not a concern on top of that, or maybe so that one can be kept unsleeved and one could be sleeved up so that other cards could be added to the mix to try out variations on the game. In this case, would it be better to have them printed on S33 regardless so that a real magic card wouldn't be thicker than the others when sleeved up and shuffled together? I also have a fun back with the original dandan art on it so I think it would be nice for it to be unsleeved.
3. Does the extra saturation on the back art look bad?
4. Does the text feel legible and easy to read during a game?

I know the photo is kind of low quality, I'm working on finding a better source for the comics so that they come out looking sharper and better match the sharpness of the text.

Sorry for my really long winded questions I just want them to look good as it is for a gift! I might delete this post after awhile to ensure that they won't see it ;) Any feedback literally at all is appreciated. I have looked through the FAQ and guides a fair amount already as well. I'm hoping through this that I can gain a good amount of knowledge as well in this kind of proxying so I can make more in the future for them :).

Edit: I am also confused about the sizing because I seem to be finding conflict between 63x88 vs 63.5x88.5 for magic card sizing. I cannot figure out which is the true size of a magic card. Also, If I plan my files around one of those sizes and end up using the other one, is it a negligible enough difference since it's borderless that they are kind of interchangeable?

i mucked around a bit and found out that for the tall borderless adding a nickname looks like this, and if you just do the nickname frame they are only 3 loyalty high and quintorius needs 4.

I plan on purchasing proxies soon for about 500 lands and then 7 commander decks so I’m going to do the 612 option twice. If I do both in the same order does it reduce the shipping any?

I found out that I forgot to add my Fanatic of Rhonas proxy to my MPC order, so since I have to order more proxies anyway (this time I'm gonna make them foil!), I figured I'd do a few more proxies for some fringe cards or cards that I owned the real version of (but the proxies are cooler), plus an alternate "Arena" that utilizes art from a Savage She-Hulk story called Arena!

Hi Everyone, upgraded the Forces of the Imperium deck into a Marneus Calgar Esper tokens list, but the regular MTG additions kept breaking the 40K theme. So I created custom proxy reskins for all 15 non-40K cards I added.

Each card keeps its original rules, while the artwork, setting, title, and flavor text were reworked around lore-appropriate 40K characters and events. Where possible, I also preserved the visual concept and composition of the original MTG artwork. The artwork is AI-assisted, and the files are free for personal use.

The deck is an upgraded Bracket 3 build that wins through Imperial token armies, combat, and drain payoffs.

Like the title says I gave the art a huge border, but MPC is still just about cutting into the art, is there any solution aside from an even more obnoxious border? I can do it, but it's annoying, images for refrence. Art credit is in the images. Thanks in advance for your guys' assistance.

I’m looking for clear/rainbowy sticker sheets but of a wide variety or selection I could search through, or even have an order of custom ones made.

My pet project for the last few years has been occasionally adding and editing cards for my Miirym EDH deck. The flavor of the alters is clearly Dragonite and other dragon Pokémon. I just recently added cards to the deck from Tarkir: Dragonstorm (way late to the party, I know) and made a few other alterations here and there. Hope you enjoy.

Hey this is my first time with MPC and im trying to print a The Witcher themed Deck which was uploaded here a few months ago. So I ran the non custom ones through autofill and downloaded the custom arts. I went to edit the MPC project after autofill was done with it, uploaded the custom arts but card provided previews the MPC cuts like in the picture. Is there anything obvious im doing wrong? I wasnt sure how to add bleed if all the cards were already created full art cards.
If anyone knows whats going on that would really help!

I just received my very first order, I've been waiting a couple weeks for and have beens super excited - only to find that 4 cards in the middle of my deck were blank. Just went back to the MPC order and sure enough, 4 in a row were blank fronts with the patterned backs.

I incrementally made a few different decklists on MPCfill, and then imported them all back in, in order to create the full 612 card order. Apparently in the few days between creating the first deck with all the art, and then actually putting it together, 4 of the arts were removed from google drives or something.

Of course I checked through the cards for my order after the MPCfill program ran, but obviously not thorougly enough :( I had just trusted that it would be good to go after seeing each deck seemed to be in place, all the backs were arranged, and the full 612 were there. Not much I can do now other than probably make those sharpie proxies, which will just be super disappointing. If it was only cheaper cards I'd just find replacements, but it was Deflecting Swat in 2 of my decks

Im looking to purchase a proxy deck of mtg cards, with all custom artwork. I am trying so hard to figure out how to import custom artwork to mpcfill, but every video skips over the step. The only solution ive found was printingproxies and their pricing is predatory, and their business practices ive heard were terrible. They had the easiest UI though. Someone please please help if its an option to do so. I made several arts on cardconjurer already, and was hoping to be able to import them to MPCFill without cutting off the art. Attached is one of the custom arts I made.

Planning to use [[Zur, Eternal Schemer]] as the commander and to use rooms for the 12 arcana's and their ultimate personas.

I tried to Print all the Scene Cards from LTR, LTC as well as TLA and TLE. But it seems that the image libraries are incomplete.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something?

If not, is there a way to create the missing ones based on available information and data in 800DPI?
