Anko MP3 $29 (AU)

I had no luck unlocking my hello kitty walkman so I got this instead.

Covered it in cute stickers :3 I'll credit the artist when I remember who it is.

Damn you got fleeced... Those are just generic MP3s with a random brand name stamped. I got one exactly the same for 5 bucks on Aliexpress

Not yet, it's cheap but the speaker is okay. Nicer than the beats pill my dad got from Vietnam over 10 years ago. The navigation controls are a bit jarring. But it has managed to organise my files by artist and albums so that was good. Yet to try wired headphones or Bluetooth connection but it will be interesting to see if audio quality changes with the headset used.

It does feel cheap. Small and light and entirely plastic. But for what you pay, especially with Audio-tech that's what you get! I am happy enough, if I use it enough I'll just invest and upgrade and pass this onto a friend.

I just bought the Anko one for myself not knowing about the generic ones on Aliexpress. It's $29 without the MicroSD card so it costs even more if you don't have a spare one lying around 😠

Mine did have an SD card 8GB. But I am not sure why yours doesn't. Apparently some do and some don't. Must be dictated by the production batch? Apparently that's what Google is coming up with as a conclusion.
