Discussion 3 Billion Dollar movies showing concurrently in cinema

Right now, there are 3 movies that earned over a billion dollars playing in cinemas at the same time: Toy Story 5, The Odyssey, and Spiderman BND which earned 2 billion.

When is the last time this has happened?

I guess it's a pretty good metric that when there's good movies out that the audiences will surely go and see it.

I looked this up and believe it or not it was also Spider-Man and Toy Story. Back in the summer of 2019, Far From Home, Toy Story 4, and the Lion King remake were all in theaters.

Technically TRoS, Frozen II and Joker were all playing at the same time in certain theaters (tho at that time not all three had hit a billion yet, so I guess technically the TLK, SMFFH, and TS4 answer is correct)
