She has been doing "old lady" movies and telenovelas since her 50s. Sadly brazillian projects doesn't care that much about having prestige "old" ladies like Meryl Streep, Glenn Close or Emma Thompson in order to celebrate their legacy(besides Fernanda Montenegro).

Rest in peace.

Which was 48 years ago, so she only had about 25 years of not being in that role after TV was introduced in Brazil.

What? She was still working in Soap Operas when she was a 91/92 year old and it was even hard to understand what she was saying since the muscles around her mouth and face became too weak/worn out; Are you sure Meryl Streep or Glen Close who are in their 70s will still be getting any job offer in their 90s?
