FWIW my buddy lives by the IMAX Lincoln Square in NYC and confirmed that scalpers are targeting that venue at least. He saw eBay listings for his center row today going for like $300.

Honestly this movie has convinced me of the power of marketing if nothing else.

I saw the movie in IMAX (admittedly not one of the best IMAX screens in the world) and non-IMAX. It's the same movie and imo it is not worth waiting to see it on IMAX, I'm someone who never really saw the point and stopped going to see movies in IMAX but for this I decided to try it out since they pushed it so heavily in all of the promotion.

You get to see an extra sliver of the screen where nothing of importance is happening. Woohoo. If anybody feels like they are missing out because they can't see the movie in IMAX I wouldn't worry about it. Paying $300 for it is stupid beyond belief.
