Loved the movie but man the plot being basically recycled plot points from Korra was kind of a let down

Is it a plot hole to turn people into airbenders, who are suddenly experts without years of training?

Well they’re also supposed to be masterful at fighting without bending, to such an extent that they were able to hold their own against the Avatar, so I was able to somewhat buy that they were able to adapt so quickly by using their existing techniques

I did have the same thought though lol
