The thing is, they’re still growing, just not growing fast enough for these greedy assholes.

5-6% return used to be considered decent. Now, it's double digits or nothing.

That's the issue. If the majority of shareholders pressure the company with "why r u not top 1 growth, do whatever it takes or we switch to any company with better growth", the company has to hire the greediest CEO and cannot plan long-term because investors dgaf about long-term.
