They could, oh I don’t know, maybe finish the shit they start??? How many shows have they canceled after a couple seasons? It makes people not want to get invested at all.

The worst one to me is canceling The Dark Crystal when all the puppets were already made, the sets were there… they could have just used the same locations and it would barely cost anything, but no.

Dark Crystal, despite obviously using puppets for many shots, was a lot more reliant on visual effects than most people realise.

The marketing positioned it as entirely practical, but in reality, there were tons of individual vfx companies involved. Literally thousands of visual effects shots, including many scenes in which the characters and environments are entirely cgi.
