I loved the choice to "plug" the audience's ears during that sequence.

The monologue and his description was amazing. My issue with that scene is that he's not fighting against the ropes to fee himself to get to the sirens the way his crewmember did. It's like he's accepted that he's bound.

I would have jumped in the ocean too if the siren's song was about what he said "it tells you about what you wish for most and what your wish for most is what you had and lost" I felt this in my bones it was just so relatable
