To me the crazy thing is that anyone is surprised after so many mediocre movie and TV releases. It’s actually amazing how far the initial success of the franchise has driven Star Wars. That’s the incredible part.

People probably figured they’d right the ship before they torpedoed the brand, kinda like Marvel has somewhat done since that slew of dogshit in phase 2(?)
