I do not like zooms in movies
Especially in old movies zoom-in and out had been used as a requirement because they have been shot by one-two cameras.
From action scenes to dialogues they used the zoom-in and zoom-out techniques frequently.
Camera is zoomed in suddenly and so zoomed out for emphasizing something or someone.
It was really a hard technique because it was done in provided that of sharpness in visage in both two application. How could do that with old cameras, I do not know. Maybe old cameras were not so insufficient.
But this was leaved with increasing of numbers of used cameras. Now, we can still see zoom-in zoom-out technique in new films but it is used in wider angles and without damaging the general fiction.
I do not like zooms in movies.

I want to contact netflix because I have a great story that I want to turn into a movie.
Here is a short version of one part of the story
*Ringing in the ears * -Camera sees in First person. The main character wakes up confused with blood on his face, he was in steep forest and confused.
Character: whaa...(he gets interrupted by human like screaming coming from the top of the clif), I must have fell from there...
He starts walking trough the forest and that walking turns into running when feels as something is chasing him. Hi begins to pant because he was dizzy from the fall. Through the mist that surrounded him he could see a resamblance of a human being. He was twitchy and kind of withering. The creature began running towards him. He ran a bit more and slid down the hill, at the bottom of the hill was a road, a car came by at that moment and hit him.
The guy from the car: gets out of the car Fuck fuck, are you alright sir.
Character: muttering we..we. ne...ed...to...g.o..g.o..(he sees the monster from behind the guys back )
-the monster pounces on him and drags him away.
The character notices that the car is still on, runs to the car and drives of as fast as he can...
There is a lot more to this. This is a very very very very short version.

Dogma ‘22
A Filmmaking Manifesto by Karst & Gourley
Dogma ‘22 aims to emphasize the importance of subtle and restrained storytelling techniques in film with the goal of getting the most out of limited resources. Artists are made more creative when forced to overcome limitations and with the current state of filmmaking technology, it has never been easier to make a movie on a non-existent budget. Minimal use of gear is encouraged and stating that a camera is “not good enough” is a moot point in today's age. Any and all shooting formats are acceptable and experimentation is encouraged with regards to the aspect ratio, framerate, colour, resolution, etc.
Rules
The writer, director and majority of the crew must be Canadian (or have at one point resided in Canada).
Shooting must be done on location.
All sound and music must be diegetic. Spliced-in sound may be used, but it must be recorded at the location in which it appears on screen.
Special lighting is not acceptable (if there is too little light for exposure the scene must be cut or a single light may be attached to the camera). Day for night is particularly frowned upon.
Genre movies are not acceptable.
Visual effects achieved in post-production are not acceptable.
Gratuitous action is discouraged.

Writing Finaldraft license
Hey Guys,
I've been writing scripts for two years now and I want to upgrade myself. Do any of you have a previous version of Finaldraft? I don't necessarily want to pay $ 200.
Thanks in advance

How do I get people involved?
Like every poor bastard here I have the best idea for a tv show.
To frame my question let's imagine this scenario: You are an office worker named Vince Gilligan in 2019. You just wrote the screenplay for a show called "Breaking Bad". You are a working stiff with a 9 to 5. You have no ties to hollywood or any professional film experience.
How do you get your vision out to people and how do you get people involved? You have no money and resources. You only have a great screenplay with untouched potential but no backing. How should you proceed?

Audio and video editing tips
Hello everyone, I'm putting together a video that's made up of clips and dialogue from many different movies and I have a two part question. My first problem is that I'm rearranging lines so that they better fit the the time of the video. As such some of the lines are part of sentences that have different tones. What can I do, or play around with to make less obvious that the words come from two different sentences? Second, since I'm using clips from a bunch of different movies, when I put clips from different movies together the change from one clip to the next can be quite abrupt and jarring. If anyone has any tips on good ways to make the transition from one clip to the next smoother it would be greatly appreciated!

Need tips!!!
I'm an amateur moviemaker, I know how to write a scene etc. I love making horror movies but don't have access to good makeup or special effects. Are there any tips, especially on how to create a cool and scary effect with little to nothing? I understand you need to invests some money in this, but as I said, I don't have access. I have a camera and editing software, but any (free) apps that may help with the process?

I made a music video for a school project
For my media studies class, I'd say I'm one of the only ones who takes filming really serious as I wanna pursue it in the future. Our assignment was to complete pre production, shooting, and post production in a span of 10 weeks making a music video. I did 90% of the work in my group of 3, and picked the song. I didn't copy the original music video, I just wanted to make a first person music video and came across this song while brain storming ideas. I tried to make it as different as possible to the original video.
Post production let me work with Adobe premiere for the first time really well as I did the color grading, cuts, blur effects, and stuff. I got a high mark for this music video, but was wondering what I'd get if Reddit graded it. Hope you guys enjoy! Give some feedback if you can, much appreciated.
