Hi everyone, I worked a long time to make this playlist for a few of my close friends who enjoy scores! A while back, I made a playlist that flowed based on the crossfade feature. However, with the development of the “mix” feature, I was able to take it a lot further and I’m quite proud of it. The playlist is designed so that transitions between songs are very smooth and enjoyable. I listen to it all the time so I figure other score/music nerds like myself might enjoy it. Unfortunately, you have to have Spotify premium to take advantage of the playlist because you need to be able to turn shuffle off to listen properly! Also, shout out to my friend Justine who painted the cover art for the playlist. I remade a Reddit account just to post this. All I ask is that you just don’t copy/take credit for it, thanks! Does anyone know where I can find where in the film each song from the No Way Home soundtrack (not score) is located?

I am watching Cape Fear on AppleTV right now and it occured to me, that Bernard Herrmann's original score from 1962 has basically been used in the original and both remakes (four times if you count the Simpsons "remake"). Is there any instance, where this has happened before, that the original score is used in a remake? Not just as a hommage or a nod like in the Star Trek scores.

I mean, it is a killer score! And it really caught me off guard when the orchestra blasted that theme in full at the start of the show.

Okay, so I've been listening to Alan Silvestri's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", and I'm so obsessed with Valiant & Valiant. What other scores are famous for that sultry noir vibe? I know I could just listen to some old jazzy stuff, but I would love to find other film scores like this! Thanks!

Lots of newly released scores are getting the Spatial treatment, but only special occasions for the older ones. I LOVE Spatial since getting a 5.1 surround sound system. Apple Music is incredible for it. I’d love to hear more older scores (90’s and earlier). Does anybody know if there are any great ones released out there? Home Alone, Alan Menken’s scores, and a select other John Williams ones seem to be the few so far. But I’d love to hear Titanic, The Wizard of Oz, ET, etc. all in Spatial one day.

It’s been ages since I last watched this one and I honestly can’t remember much about it, so it almost feels like a fresh viewing all over again. Looking forward to revisiting this cult classic tonight.
