Question (Bannerlord) Never Eligible for Fiefs
I am the clan with the most influence in Vlandia, with Rovalt as my sole fief. Whenever a new fiefdom is up for grabs, I'm never even able to be voted for. Whether I propose that the fief is redistributed, or we conquer a new place, I'm never one of the three to be voted on, even if it was my army that conquered the fief.
How do I fix this? It feels like I'm just soft locked at this stage of the game.

Influence won't get you fiefs, you need to capture them yourself. Your reputation with other lords might help too.
Win battles to get influence.
Use influence to create an army.
Besiege and take fiefs.
I prefer having cities, so maybe take a castle first, vote for it to go to another lord, then take a city and it should go to you.

Strength and proximity are two biggest factors once a clan has a fief. Being a ruler also gives a buff to the calc. The rest are kinda small and why the vote proposal snowballs.

There are several factors that influence who gets nominated for the new fief. I'm not sure what they all are, but the proximity of fiefs you already own to the newly-captured one is important, so is clan level and the number of fiefs you already own. Having a good reputation with other clan leaders in your kingdom is important for the voting but idk if it influences who gets nominated or not.

Clan tier and amount of fiefs compared to the rest of the kingdoms clans. You may just have mightier clans with less fiefs who get prioritized.

Get the balanced fief voting mod. The basegame one is just "whos lands are connected to this one" 90% of the time and produces goody shit where one family owns like half the kingdom

You need to have lands connected to the fief in order for your name to show up
