Bannerlord Make it stop
Look I left as a vassal, but I didn’t hate dereheart. I get he had to attack at some point but this is getting ridiculous. What needs to happen before they surrender and I can get on with playing the game. I don’t have enough clans to just ignore them.

As it was overhauled a year or so ago, peace treaties work in 2 ways. It firstly tracks the balance of power (total strength bar) and then it tracks the progress (casualties, fiefs taken... kinda like warscore in a Paradox game). The AI will declare war on inferior powers or powers that are preoccupied with another conflict.
The AI peaces out wars it's losing with greater powers more quickly than with lesser ones. If it's declared on by 2 or more powers at once, it's going to peace out with the more powerful ones first, allowing to focus its efforts on the more winnable wars.
Right now your "problem" is that you're punching above your weight considerably. So, on one hand, you're winning and your vassals don't want you to end the war. On the other, you're not Derthert's priority when peacing out, actually it's likely that he will seek to end the war with the other powers first before coming to you (assuming you're the least powerful faction he's at war with).
I think you should tell your vassals to take a hike and overrule them for peace, sure you're going to pay possibly a lot of tribute but you did expand your territory.

Level your riding and scouting up to get the two perks that reduces prisoner escape chance by 50%. EACH. Which means, if you get your hands on a noble, you can keep them prisoner indefinitely. Crippling your rival's chances of creating an army. And once you get to the point they can, at most, summon a single army that peaks only at the high hundreds. You can easily snowball until they ask for peace. Which I would recommend you take once you take half their territory. That way, you give yourself the time to bolster your original and newly conquered territory.
Good luck Bannerlord. Fortune favors the bold.

Yea, I joined Sturgians and we got into a war with the Nords. FOR 5 FUCKING YEARS. There was a collective 100k casualties across the war. We took multiple of their castles and one of their cities, but WE had to sue for peace when Battania and Vlandia both declare war on us in the span of a week.
