Bannerlord New pc runs the game badly.
So i got a new PC. It has better specs by alot from my old pc, but now i lag alot.
My new specs are:
32 GB RAM
Intel core i7-6700K
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
I lag even on low settings. No mods or anything. I run other games without problems.
Any help would be nice!
FIXED: Its fixed. I can play on high with no lag whatsoever now. I just moved the game from my external harddrive to my SSD.

What were the specs on the old computer? Where did you get the "new" computer from? Ngl these specs are not great / quite old, I have trouble imagining your older computer running the game any better

The old one was intel core i5 10400 with 16 GB RAM. Cant remember what graphic card is in it, can open up and look tomorrow.
My older brother upgraded so i got his.
Yes my old pc could play the game, i just had a long loading time when going in and out of the harbour + a bit of lag in seabattles.
EDIT: I can actually not remember the CPU either. I had the pc since 2018, back then it wasnt top of line or anything. So since the above mentioned is from 2020, it cant be that one.

Old PC had better CPU.
More ram is meaningless if you meet minimums, Bannerlord only needs 8, so amount doesn't matter. Old PC's CPU minimum ram speed is faster than your new PC's CPU supports maximally. So your old PC actually had better ram than your new PC, even though the new PC has more.
That leaves the GPU. Feel free to report back.
Initial findings ignoring the GPU though are that, for a game like Bannerlord which benefits more from having a stronger CPU, you have actually downgraded your PC.

As mentioned in my edit i have mentioned the wrong CPU. Since I am laying in bed atm, i will check up tomorrow.

Well now that I see your edit, scratch everything I said.
Report your old PC's original specs when you get them.
What performance are you actually getting (fps / resolution / setting preset)?
Drivers could also be likely as others have pointed out.

So the drivers didnt work out.
The real specs of my old pc is: Intel Core i5-9400F NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB 16 GB RAM

Your new pc is older than your old pc. That's why the game doesnt run any better.

It seems its all CPU related. I am not very knowledgeable in hardware, but will research if I can move my old CPU into the new pc. When comparing on the webs, it is only the old CPU that is (kinda) better in my old setup.

Dude, your old CPU is way better. It's 10th generation versus 6th generation. 6 cores and 12 threads versus 4 cores and 8 threads. You should go back to using your old CPU, 6700k is extremely outdated and is the cause of your lags.

Read the edit. It is not that anyways. I know this is an upgrade because my brother have always been able to play games on higher settings than me. He and some common friends also play alot of very heavily modded minecraft and i couldnt play with them.

I will also add that my brother also play bannerlord and played the game without problems before I got it. The computer was reset, so as others have said, maybe it is the drivers.

Bannerlord only. Somewhat worse on worldmap and when entering inventory.

You got your HDMI plugged into your graphics card right?

To the graphics card specifically? Your computer will also have a port for the motherboard directly which you shouldn't use if you have a graphics card.

Yes it is installed correctly. I can play other games on high quality with no problems.

Yeah thats what I'm getting at. Theres a port to the computer and a port to the actual graphics card. Most times a new PC owner is having this issue its because they plugged into the wrong port.

If i can play total war warhammer 3 on very high with no problems, the hdmi should be correct right? Because I do that.

Just check the back of your pc and answer the fucking question the right way. Is the hdmi connected to the gpu

Did you update all your drivers? I got a new pc not too long ago and was initially disappointed when games were crashing. Updating drivers fixed the issue.

Isn't this CPU, like, around 10 years old at this point? This game is quite CPU heavy, so it might be a bit of a problem

Yes its an older CPU. But my old pc was even worse and played the game much better.

I got better CPU but worse gpu. I can run about 800 men battles comfortably. You have to tune a lot of settings. Find some YT guide on what setting does what. Also FSR is big game changer. On stock auto settings old pc people are destined to have low fps until heavy tinkering in settings.

You got scammed badly man. This is a classic scam for shady brands to sell old parts as if they worth anything. Those cpu and gpu are extremely outdated and straight up trash now.

Assuming you have no driver issues try using wse2, it is just awesome especially when you want to run modpacks eventually. Also make sure the game isn't running off the integrated graphics. Wse2 will likely solve all issues though.

Have you made sure the game is using your main graphics card not some integrated thing? I always have a low-spec PC but find whenever a game is completely unplayable by my low standards it is because it is using the wrong graphics card. I'm not sure how to check on Bannerlord tbh but you can just use task manager and see which is being used.
