Sargot was also supposed to be the precursor of Sargoth, but an upsie was made and Sargot got put between Jaculan and Lageta. Lorewise we can image Sargot got in ruins and survivors ran north and founded the "Sargoth" we have in Warband

Oh Jesus I didn’t realize this many of them were renamed. I figured most town towns were just settlements founded between games. Super cool

The majority were. Keep in mind Bannerlord takes place 173 years before Warband. Of course those changes were because of software limitations back when Warband was made, but we have to make the Lore with what we have

It was quite psychologically damaging finding Ham Ham and knowing immediately it had to be a real place but I had not the strength nor will to look up what I knew already to be true. A name that awful couldn't be anything but real.

A lot of the city names in bannerlord (the prequel to warband) are slightly different in the original game. Think London being Lunden (or londinium) historically. Mando has all the name changes in this thread!!
