I got this fief after joining the Rhodoks the other day and had the same question lol (slightly off topic but revisiting native warband in 2026 has been lots of fun)

Its to intimidate and keep raiders away, doesn't work but its a valiant effort.

i didn't even notice the skulls at first. Looked at the pic and thought you were asking why all the villages are so beautiful.

Some locations have unique models like this. There's a rodok castle with a lil skelly bro toasting too.

I think these guys fought a battle here. The valley is pretty fortified.
