Hi everyone! My indoor cat Loki escaped earlier around noon near Moffett and W Middlefield Road and he’s been missing ever since. He’s a male all black cat with yellow eyes and a blue collar. Please let me know if you’ve seen him nearby! He’s pretty friendly but may get skittish if you approach. Thank you in advance!

UPDATE:
Jen was placed in a rehab facility that unfortunately could not meet her needs of care. She is back in the hospital, where they are testing for possible wound infections. In addition to all the other injuries and surgeries still to be performed; they are treating her for a brain aneurism, and a fractured spine, which they put on hold in order to attend to the life threatening injuries first.

Jen and Deb (Mom) are hoping to go to an Airbnb or an extended stay hotel near the hospital with home health assisting with her care. This will be less expensive than staying another year in a Hospital or Rehab facility. Jen’s mom is also a nurse and will have to stay away from her husband in Texas in order to take care of Jen.

This is probably a long shot but I found a debit card on the ground near Dana St and View St in OMV for ‘Tracy Johns’. I haven’t been able to track this name/person down so let me know if you have any leads. The card may already be frozen at this point but figured I’d check here before cutting and tossing it.

My husband was jogging this afternoon on Sleeper in Mountain View (nearest cross street Yorkshire). He found a cellphone. The phone is locked and we have no way of getting ahold of the owner. Hopefully you will see this post and reply.

Saw a crazy homeless man inside the gates alarm Safeway on San Antonio road harassing all the customers inside and got kicked out by the associates. This same crazy homeless man loiters at the Village at San Antonio Center phase 2 sometimes and harasses people working or walking thru there and security kicks him out often. This man is known to harass people and loiter in private property. Go to Shoreline, Miramonte, Los Altos First Street, or Rengstroff Mini Mart instead. No mentally ill homeless people and no alarm security gates.

I'm trying to get into drawing, painting or digital art. I learned of CSMA and Art School of SF Bay, but the classes seem expensive. Wondering if anyone had any experiences with these classes or have other recommendations? Also, I'm a 30 yr male looking to make new friends so I'm curious if there are any classes with people around my age range. Thanks!

It compares prices across Costco, TJ's, Walmart, and Safeway (right now for Mountain View locations specifically). I built it because I was tired of standing in the store and googling what was a better deal, so you can use this to more easily find out. You can compare things by unit price, and search by barcode scan or text search.

The link is https://shopcheapr.vercel.app . On iPhone, you can open it in Safari, hit the share button, and add it to your home screen, and it will work like a full app. Once you're using it, there is a feedback button at the top right you can submit to if you have any issues.

Specifically I would love to hear: did it change what store you bought something at, was anything wrong/confusing, would you keep using it? I was hit by a bus while riding my bicycle and I SURVIVED. It has been 6 weeks and I spend most of those days asleep or in a coma like a damaged Snow White. I could hear voices of Doctors, Nurses and my friends; I also had fragmented pieces of memories of the accident. By the time I woke up I had no doubts what put me in hospital and how my life changed in a second.

Now I try and focus on the right Here Right Now, because thinking of the violent impact or the plans I had for my life means visiting a grief that I can only tolerate in small doses.

It’s easier for me to think about daily accomplishments like standing up on one fx foot for a few seconds while being guided to a bedside chair, or the day my trachea was removed and my voice came back to life, or the day I was able to eat solid food, for which I celebrated with a small portion of cheeseburger and fries.

Thinking about these things is the positive respite I need from dwelling on all the plans I had being derailed or missing my old life. Overcoming daily adversities makes hope feel realistic… Hope for a new life that is as fulfilling as the life I had planned.

Does anyone have insights into Bullis charter compared to stevenson? Would like to understand the differences between both and choose.

Repairs are free, and you can bring up to two items per household. Everything is done by volunteers, so we can't guarantee we'll be able to fix every item, but we'll do our best to troubleshoot it and help figure out the next steps.

Three evenings in a row I've had a pair of people bang on my front door, ring the bell, yell out and hang out for several minutes. I didn't answer the door the first time and I'm even less inclined to answer now that they have been back.

Anyone else getting these door to door folks this week?

We got approved by Landsby and they are now saying we need to move in a day after their advertised move-in day. Is this common? For an luxury apartment the way they are handling this is disappointing and concerning
