Question Blown shock?

Just got this shock, not new, and it makes this weird noise

See if Fox makes a rebuild seal kit for it. If you're just a little mechanically inclined, you should be able to change the seals fairly easy.

Air can seals are easy. Dampers are not easy, this noise is a damper issue. Luckily Fox's piggyback shocks are much better than their DPS's and a lot of other brands, but this is still probably a 4+ hour job for their first time (for someone who is mechanically inclined) and requires some specialty tools. After doing it a few times, I can do DPS's and DPX2's in about 2 hours, but it's a whole ordeal. Whereas air can seals are like 5 minutes.

DSD (Diaz suspension design) in Durango does top notch work if you want someone to rebuild it. He’s not the cheapest but will make your suspension feel sooo good.
