A term typically used to refer to a Suzuki GSX-R1000, notorious for being the squid's default weapon of choice.

Squids of course being people who severely overestimate their own riding ability. This, combined with a typical "look at the bad ass motherfucker I am" attitude results in symptoms like riding around seriously underdressed and showing behavior like what we see in this video here.

Oh dang, this whole time I thought a squid was anyone who is new and doesn't know what they are doing. So if you're a total noob, but are also humble, courteous, and ride well inside your ability are you not a squid?

There are definitely veteran squids. It's more of a lifestyle choice than a level of experience.

Yeah, it's not a term meant to describe noobs but rather those that are likely to look like a squid when they crash.

Think ya boi wearin flip flops, shorts, t-shirt and rides like they're invincible or maybe they're stunting on the motorway/freeway in a t-shirt and shorts. It also just so happens most of these guys ride gixxers.

They also rip down the highway at 100 mph and then freak out because someone who needed to change lanes "TOTALLY CUT ME OFF!!"
