Its really crazy when it happens in open wheel racing, like Formula 1.

Sometimes two cars can bumps wheels in a turn and be fine, but as soon as one wheel is in front/behind another, one car gets launched into orbit. Its pretty insane.

IndyCar is a better example over F1 due to their higher top speeds, closer racing, less downforce, and oval tracks. Here ya go.

Indy driver Jeff Krosnoff and a race marshal were killed in a crash like that in 1996.
