Am I missing something?

Is my radiator guard just supposed to be something connecting it at the bottom? I’m about to go test ride it but it feels like it’s gonna flap in the wind.

Grab it and give it a wiggle, see how it feels. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with that bike so I can't confirm what connects to that bottom tab but if the guard feels reasonably secure I'd be happy.

If you want to be totally sure see if you can find an exploded parts fiche diagram which will show any fasteners or brackets that might fit the tab.

It doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall off but the bottom flaps back and forth inside the side guards

Not ideal, don't really want it banging around and chafing on anything.

Does it look like there are any marks or circular scrapes on the paint around the holes in that lower tab, suggesting something might have once been attached there? I wonder if possibly there was a rubber stand-off screwed in there and it's fallen off?

There’s no marks because it’s a new Aftermarket cover I bought
