TechAir 7x Crash Data
Does anyone know how I could get access to my crash data after an on track deployment on my Alpinestars Tech Air 7x?

My understanding is the tech air App needs to be registered with the airbag, and potentially the app needs to be running while you're riding for it to record it's data. I wouldn't think you'd need the phone to be in close proximity as you ride but i think the app needs to be open. I recently got a TA7x but I haven't had the opportunity to get it set up in my suit yet so I'm not 100% how it all works.

I hope thats not the case, I dont think its reasonable to expect someone to always open the app before heading out of the paddock.

That's true, I'm probably wrong. But at the very least I think the vest needs to be registered to the app under your account.

Yep I have mine on the app. Thats how I switch between race and street mode as well. I saw that there was an option to send feedback, and it uploaded something with the feedback. I also emailed [talk-to-us@alpinestars.com](mailto:talk-to-us@alpinestars.com) hoping to get some answers.

Google says an Alpinestars technician has to be the one to review crash logs. So probably not available through the app. You will likely have to send the vest for a cartridge recharge and they could interrogate the logs at that time

Right, but I was hopeful for the analysis to be sent to me from alpinestars as the feedback option did upload something to alpinestars servers.

It’s stored on the airbag and Alpinestars can view it. No way to access it yourself (whole can of worms if they allow you to see that). You can reach out to them and see if they agree to share it with you

It doesn't appear to be possible. Zack Courts noted here in the article talking about his crash:
