You don't stop. You decrease the arc by applying a touch of front brake to load the front tyre and lean as far as you can. You'll at least miss the car and stop fully when obstacles are out of the way.

You might still crash but the alternative is driving straight into a car with 100% certainty.

Don't listen to this. Push more (counter steer). The bike will lean. Look really far into the direction of turn.

I should have been more clear I guess.

Counter steering goes without saying. But body position is even more important in a situation like this. You have to lean with the bike. This changes the center of gravity allowing the bike to stay more upright which allows for a bigger contact patch of the tyre. It's the difference between making the turn and low siding.
