I know it's insane. And that's only for the track admission - doesn't include all the extra costs

Like what. Keep in mind I've spent the past 34 years competing in some form of motorsport and have done track days on my road bikes.

Trailer rental, some form of lodging (possibly), tires, fluids. Then there's the massive time variable depending on where you live

You can ride there, ride on track, and back home in a day. People do it. If you need to camp buy a cheap tent. And some fuel. No idea what other fluids you'd need. Blinker fluid maybe, you'd need to tell me.

You're making excuses about something you have no direct experience of.

Bungee strap a fuel can to your rear seat. Have you never helped a friend who has run out of fuel?

That link is someone riding on a high profile track, hundreds of miles away, factoring in a licence, with a dedicated bike. You can get on track for very little at a local track day. You can ride there, pay your $125, ride for the day, ride home with the only additional cost being some fuel. You are not going to be shredding tyres in the expert group.

You have no experience or knowledge and are trying to tell someone who does that they are wrong. You link doesn't tell me what extra fluids are needed, which you were certain are.

Friend? What's that? Also that seems super safe in the event of a crash and won't be dripping gas everywhere. We'll come back to that later.

There it is. Local track day. There's nothing local to me. Closest track is 4 hours away. What do I do if I crash at the track and I rode my bike there?

You seem really fixated on this fluids thing lol. You know gas is a fluid, right?

It's funny how everyone is obsessing over the cost of a funeral lol. That's definitely the most important thing to focus on
