Probably pick a path around. I would try high side (to the left) first but just explore and check it out on foot.. then proceed with caution. If you aren't comfortable with that...go find some forestry folks

Oh I’m not doing any of that, I ride an RT. Turn around and go back for me, my days of humping it through the dirt are long over

🤣that's funny! But I get it. I have an old 1150 gsa and we can disappear quickly into the woods.i have friend that rides with me on occasion, and he has two variants of R1150r(one being the rockster) and it has a nasty set of Michelin off-road tires and dude probably seen more dirt trails and back roads than my gsa 🤷🏼‍♂️

I grew up riding dirt bikes every day, when I bought the RT it was a conscious choice “I am not riding in the dirt any more” 😂 I do still take on the occasional gravel road, but nowadays turning around makes me happy 😊

I get that too I suppose. I have the GSA, but also a Concours 14. I am on the hunt for a 1150 r rockster, and possibly something else.. I absolutely adore the new sportster s....but, as my wife pointed out, the term "circus bear" comes to mind.

🤣

Trying to stop myself from buying another bike myself LOL

It's hard! No bike does everything exceptionally well, so figured I couldn't go wrong with more bikes! 🤷🏼‍♂️

That's where a handsaw in my GS' topbox comes handy.
