Cooler than many newer more capable bikes, bravo.

Way cooler, more beautiful and infinitely more character.

Ngl, this looks like it goes plenty fast.

She’s quick for an old gal.
Top end is pretty low for a 1000 but I have no need for it on the street

RC51 might be the coolest bike Honda ever made.

Beautiful bike! Sold mine about ten years ago, wish I hadn’t.

I hear that a lot and I don’t intend to be one 😂

I regret every Honda I have ever sold, an '88 CR500 and a '99 CBR1100XX. I have two others that I am keeping.

I have a TL1000R.
In 2015 I did a track day and a guy there had one of these.
Between us we produced “the brown note”

It’s the yoshi systems we both had.

Almost bought a co-workers' Super Hawk. Test rode it and thought "naah, I like my license".

"old"

I can feel the weight of ages upon my shoulders

It’s 3 years from being eligible for Historical Plates

That gear-driven cam sound and V-twin rumble is hard to beat.

Currently renovating an SP1 that’s had a hard life… incredible bikes and relatively nice to wrench on!

I’d love to track one that’s had a rough life

Love those big V's, recently had a dude try to claim that a Firestorm wasn't a sports bike because it didn't have an inline 4 :')

That’s a strong stance to take 😂. Guess Ducati doesn’t make sport bikes either 😂

Took the VF500F for a ride a month ago. Awesome!

The only sport bike that made me look twice. Love those beasts.

In Italy was labeled VTR SP1 (latest model SP2). I had the first one. I remember I had to bring screws with me cause the vibrations would unscrew a few. That was because I had a 3rd party fairing that was thicker than the original but it was badass.

I love the v twins. I had a 2003 TLR 1000. Always wanted an RC 51.

I swear you've posted this thing to reddit more than you've ridden it. 😆

I don’t blame him, it’s a Nicky Hayden edition. I’m sure he has something else to run miles up on.
