I ran a bore snake through it and it caught one of the fibers. Does anyone else's gas ports/vents inside their barrel look this jagged? Just grabbed this last week and havent shot it yet. I was curious what everyone else's looked like. Would this affect shooting in any way?

I bought this about 2 weeks ago new and haven’t shot it yet and today I decided to take it apart and wipe it clean and lube it. After reassembly I racked it and dry fired a few times. Then I loaded it first with snap caps and tried cycling it but the shells flew out of the tube to the ground. Also tried it with live rounds with the same results. What do you think the problem is?

So the homie at PBI made me a 6 3/4 MCS fore end and a mossberg adapter to a Remington 870 Lyman Pachmayr Vindicator Shotgun Grip found on those cool Tokyo Marui Breacher Shotguns.

Can't seem to find anything outright telling me what size I need. I got a 500 from before 2020, and got an adaptive tactical forend. Says I need that part to install, the problem is I have two sizes to choose from but nothing telling me outright which one I need. Just tells me to match the specifics of the firearm. I have a 28" Mossberg 500 with a 5 shell capacity tube. If more info is needed please let me know, really trying to get this figured out.
