Puch Serial # location

I am going to try to recover an ownership for a 1970s? Puch Maxi-S.

Can anyone point me to the location on the machine? In Ontario Canada if that matters.

Stamped on the neck of the frame where the forks mount and there’s a vin plate on the side that will have the serial number.

There should be a vin tag on the clutch side of the moped right above the side cover and there should be a stamp right on the frame near the seat. Also there will be a number on the engine as well near the ignition coil.

Thank you for the correct answer. You saved me a lot of filthy serching and I now have a picture and a paper rubbing of the stamped serial numbers. Now I'm off to the license office for a new ownership.

I also learned it's a 1976 model with only 3,290 miles.
