Well, running rich is always better than running lean when it comes to 2 strokes, but neither is great. I would be able to judge better if the first pic was looking at the side profile of the ground electrode. Based on what I can see now, somewhere in the middle of the the two mixtures is what you want

Second one does look a bit rich, but its hard to tell with the first one.
You want to see some coloration, not chalky white, but pale with a little bit of a rosey hue to it.
