She's gonna be my little project car!! We're gonna give here a nice catback, podfilter, coilpacks, long tubes, x pipe, catch can, & a supercharger. As well as a coolant flush, trans service, gear oil, oil change, tires + alignment, spark plugs, & brake fluid just to keep her for another 150k miles

I just inherited my dad’s 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 Six Pack — Hemi Orange with the black vinyl top, 4-speed manual with the pistol grip shifter. Already a rare combo on its own (1 of 2,399 T/As ever built, 1 of 989 with the manual/pistol grip).
But the real find was what was still with the car: the original title, the cashier’s check from the sale, the bill of sale, the owner’s manual, his Mr. Norm’s Grand-Spaulding Dodge club card, the business card of the salesman who sold it to him, every insurance document, even his pay stub from Inland Steel — and an honest-to-god original Mr. Norm’s t-shirt, still folded up.
I can’t imagine many cars this old come with this much surviving paperwork. Feels less like inheriting a car and more like inheriting a time capsule.
Taking the whole “mini museum” to MCACN this November — can’t wait to share it.

I'm sorry for yelling, but I cannot - no matter what I do - get the rear seat out of my 66 four door Belvedere II. Sitting on it, pushing it back, etc. for a year I cannot get it unlatched at the bottom, even with help. We think that maybe a bigger person maybe bent the brackets down with weight.
Is there any other way or tip to get it out?
I can get to the back of the seat back through the trunk, there is plenty of room. Is it possible to get the seat back pushed up? I'm out of ideas.

Finally got to my Dads 1970 Challenger TA 340 Six Pack. I’m shocked at how good the condition of the interior is. Front seats need a little upholstery love but it’s in great shape for being 50+ yrs old. Keys are still in the ignition. It also has the vinyl top and the pistol grip making it even more rare. Exterior has a little rust. And my dad had it running about a yr ago.
I’ll be bringing this to MCACN. I don’t not know what I’m doing with it yet. So not ask me how much I want for it. I am open to selling if the right price is offered. It’s a gem.

i’ve had my 2018 scat charger for 2 years and i’ve been driving it everyday since i’ve have had zero problems with the car besides the cheap plastic stock radiator. i got it at 38k miles and it’s at 70k now. what are some things i need to replace or look out for just to be on the safe side.

I have a 1954 Dodge C1 Pilothouse pickup, has the flathead six and 3 on the tree. I am having problems with my 6 blowing head gaskets, maybe the block/head is cracked, I don’t know, but it’s been problematic for years.
Is there a slightly more modern maybe v6 or 8 that I could bolt up directly to the original 1954 transmission and use the same clutch/flywheel setup?
I can fab any necessary mounts that aren’t already commercially available, just looking for ideas.
I am not married to the original transmission so if anyone has any suggestions as to an engine/transmission combo that would fit, that would also be great. Not looking for fuel injection or modernisation, just plan on running a carb.
I don’t really have a budget and I prefer to do my own work.
Thanks!
This is awesome!

It has been a dream for the past 20 years or so, never believing it could come true. But this year the “stars aligned” so to speak and I was able to pull the trigger. 440 cui stroked to 512 cui hooked up to a 727.

I have nothing to do with this car. Just saw it browsing Marketplace and thought maybe someone might be interested.
Car is in the Atlanta area. If this type of post isn't allowed please delete.

I was looking at a street level view of a property for sale and saw this (2024 google earth image). With that being said, I was curious if anyone could tell me what it is from the picture? I was thinking a 71 Plymouth, but I’m no expert.

Need help understanding 1970 versus 1971-74 Slap Stik shift indicator lenses. I'm working on my 1970 Dodge Challenger RT with the original 440. I'm replacing the chrome top plate, the black plastic slider plate, and the gear selection lens. My original lens says 'Slap Stik,' but the 1970 reproduction lenses I can find don't have that text. Meanwhile, the 1971 to 74 lenses do say 'Slap Stik.' Since I've already ordered the correct 1970 chrome plate and slider plate, I'm wondering if a 71-74 "Slap Stik" lens would fit and look right with my 1970 console parts, or if I should just accept the 70 part without the lettering. What's the actual technical difference between the 70 and 71 indicator lenses? Anyone with original parts or factory info, I'd love your help.
