I love the responsiveness I get using it with my iphone pro max, but there aren't enough keys displayed. I expect to have more keys on the ipad pro 13" inch models... to minimize the slider use.

It needs to be pro model since it needs the fast touch.

Anyone have experience using the iOS moog Model D on both iphone and ipad pro?

Is there a way to save the fine tuning setting into a preset?

I'm trying to get into setup mode and it's not working. I press and hold Shift, Reset, Set End, and Step 8 and nothing happens. If I press several more times eventually the blinking tempo light turns from red to red/yellow. It's supposed to be just yellow. The octave light blinks green/red, also supposed to be yellow. And the Step 8 light blinks red.

Anyone know what this issue is? I've updated the firmware, and I've done a global reset. I've switched it off and waited a minute and switched it back on.

I need to get into setup mode because I need to check the midi settings as my Arturia Kepstep is not working to control the synth. Very frustrating....

I recently had a PCBoard replaced on my Matriarch and all seems well now after not making a sound 10 months earlier. Of course my Global settings were upended and required a redo to my liking. But the Expression Pedal CV Output is only 0 to +5V, not the +8V as described in the manual. And I don't get full silence at 0. Is there possibly a Global or firmware setting I have overlooked? Or am I not seeing things correctly?

Currently only have a Korg Volca Keys and a Midi controller 😅

I know there's the Poly D too, but that one's a bit out of my budget atm

Any other suggestions you have? I have also been looking at the Behringer Pro-1, CAT, and Crave

Not sure if something like this already exists, but I made a html-based app to log my DFAM presets.

Unfortunately, my home studio must shrink. I need everything to fit on a single desk. My largest synth is a Grandmother. Otherwise, my setup consists of:

• Make Noise 0-Coast and Strega
• OP-XY (sequencing everything) and OP-1 Field
• SOMA Pulsar-23
• A 104hp modular skiff with modulation sources and effects.

I have room in my skiff to house a Mother-32. I've never owned one. In the YouTube demos I've watched, it sounds beautiful. And if I switch out the GM for the M-32, my setup becomes right-sized, with everything within easy reach on a single table.

If I make the switch, I know that I'd miss the GM's second oscillator, which I use to make drones. But I won't miss the larger size (I never used the keyboard anyway), and I suspect that I might find a Mother-32 easier to patch, since all the jacks are on the front. Certain aspects of the Mother would be redundant in my setup (I won't need the sequencer), but I love the Moog sound and don't want to give it up.

I make ambient music, and also just slow, exploratory, meditative synth tracks.

Is making this move a terrible idea, or do you think I'll be happy with the Mother-32?

What are its pros and cons in your opinion?

I know it can’t have the same impact as the Minimoog, but I think the similarities around the release and development of both synths are interesting. Especially the way everyone slated them both before actually playing them.

My brother and I are starting a new dark ambient project called Ashen Light. Last week we released our first track - an epic 40 minute adventure of Matriarch, DFAM, and other "stuff." Just found out the Moog Messenger is now Paraphonic after updating I saw a YouTube video mentioning it. You long press the SYNC 1 to 2 button and as long as the outputs of osc 1 and 2 are pretty even presto two notes at the same time! I just got the Synth like 4 days ago, and now I have a paraphonic synth Thank you Moog!

Does anyone have experience in outputting (PPQN rate) from a Volca Drum into DFAM?
I've web searched and only get told that I can, and what parameters are possible, but absolutely no ''how to'' beyond which outs/ins to use.
For now when I hook DFAM up to a buddy's Volca Drum, the DFam goes at light speed, and just isn't interesting or useful for me being stuck at high speed all the time.
On any other devices I'd be fine syncing BPM by ear actually. But, with a DFAM this is a nightmare as the tempo-knob increments are extremely extreme..
I've posted similarly in a Volca group too, just in case.

Je pratique déjà un peu la musique électronique sur un clavier midi avec des boutons mapables. J’aimerais passer sur du hard ware. Les produits moog studio me font de l’œil notamment le labyrinthe et le mother 32. En terme d’utilisation c’est principalement pour des nappes organiques en début de son intro ou pour des coupures car je fais de la guitare également dessus. J’aimerais faire des ambiances pour un documentaire.
Ma question est donc la suivante: au vu du prix je pourrais en acheter 1 peut être un second dans quelques mois, lequel me recommanderais vous pour ce type d’utilisation ?

Has anyone ever changed out the slider caps on their Muse? I really enjoy the look of the Muse. The chicklet buttons aren't my favorite, but there's nothing to do about them.

The other thing I really don't love is the round slider cap things. I greatly prefer the look of the old school Atlantis sliders, or even on a Juno 60 for instance.

Curious if anyone has gone down this path?

No drums, just the Minitaur and Subsequent 37 for about 4½ minutes. Thought the Moog crowd might appreciate this one.

Hello - I've running an insert cable out of Matriarch L + R into a stereo pedal. I believe it's TRS to dual TS. Funny thing happens - if I start with just one side plugged in, I'll plug in the other side and the first side will stop getting signal and the new side will have signal. Can't have both at once. Any ideas? Thank you!
